About Katherine Creamer
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Birth Doula, Your Birth Doula LLC; Austin, TX — 2015 - Present
I certified through Tiny Love Doula in 2015 and I’ve had the honor of walking alongside over 150 families during this tender transition; offering calm, compassionate, and educational care as both a birth and postpartum doula.
Practically, I helped establish a strong breastfeeding start with help achieving a good latch and position.
Birth Assistant, CTBC; Georgetown, TX — 2022
I certified through Birth Assistant Education in 2022. I worked briefly at CTBC until they found a student to fill the assist role full time as I wasn’t ready to be a student midwife yet. I learned about everything from setting up for IVs,cleaning after births, monitoring vitals in labor and postpartum and being prepared to support the midwives and assist in birth emergencies.
Birth Assistant/Student Midwife, Red Poppy Birth Care; Georgetown, TX & Revolution Birth Services; Belton, TX — 2025 - Present
I assist in prenatal appointments by taking vitals, charting, measuring fundal height and I’m learning to assess fetal positioning. I also am trained in venipuncture and administering IVs. It is a current goal to learn how to navigate Quest, order labs, and send off labs once drawn.
