What are Our Key Practice Results?

As a future mom your top priority is having a healthy baby. That's why we strive to provide you with the best pregnancy, labor, delivery and postpartum care. A part of this is measuring results and continuously improving our practice. The metrics below are key practice outcomes for May 31st, 2021 through May 31st, 2025. If you'd like to learn more we invite you to talk to your midwife.

Total live births: 235

This metric measures all of the live babies we delivered.   

Total still births: 0

Vaginal births: 214

These are spontaneous vaginal births at our birth center or the client's home.

Vaginal births resulting in multiple birth: 5 (twins)
This measures spontaneous vaginal births resulting in multiple babies, in our case five sets of twins.

Successful VBACs: 6

VBAC stands for vaginal birth after (a previous) cesarean section.

Infants born weighing less than 2,500 grams: 0

If your baby weighs less than 2,500 grams (5 pounds, 8 ounces), he or she has a low birth weight..

Infants with a five minute Apgar score below 7: 0

An Apgar score of 7, 8, or 9 is normal and is a sign that the newborn is in good health.
