About Victoria Meinhardt
Victoria Meinhardt, LM, CPM became a Licensed Midwife in 2005 after studying with the Association of Texas Midwives Midwifery Training Program. She opened her own practice in April 2005 and over a five-year period helped ~200 families with their birthing needs.
In 2010 she became a staff midwife with the Austin Area Birthing Center and was promoted to Clinical Director in 2016. During her ten years at AABC, Victoria was privileged to assist hundreds of central Texas families through their childbearing years. She also trained multiple midwifery students and is still an active preceptor. As Clinical Director at AABC she helped to create new policies, guidelines, and protocols, while managing the staff and handling complex situations.
Victoria joined Abundance Midwifery after leaving AABC in April 2020, returning to her home birth roots. Over the last 17 years she has helped ~1,300 families through the life changing experiences of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Victoria remains very passionate about her profession.
Victoria also served on the Midwives Advisory Board for the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation's Midwife Program from 2018-2021 and enjoys training the next generation of midwives.
She has three daughters, all adult women now, who were delivered by midwives with two as home births!
